                                                                    From the Principal's desk

The College has entered its second decade of existence. The journey from the first to second decade has been a momentous one. Though the ten years of infancy had teething problems, the College gained considerable heights. We endeavored to provide quality legal education and to chisel the fine lawyer inherent in our students. The academic performance of the students was always commendable. Seminars and Workshops on topics that were way beyond the curriculum were a special feature of the College. The varied cultural activities afforded an opportunity to the students to indulge in their hobbies and to reveal their inner spark. The Legal Aid Cell and Life Long Learning and Extension Unit reaffirmed our Motto ‘Legal Education-A Social Commitment’. Interaction with the distinguished judges and legal luminaries from India and abroad made the students comfortable and skilled in dealing with differing legal systems and cultures while remaining strong in their own national legal system. Capsule Courses in non-conventional legal subjects equipped our students with necessary skills to deal with the expanding world of legal practice. Our magazine ‘Vidhi Chakra’ too completed few rotations since its first edition in 2011.

The above feats would not have been possible but for the unstinted and wholehearted support from teaching and non-teaching staff and participation by the students. Nari Gursahani Law College is what it is today because of them.

Much has been accomplished. But much more remains to be achieved. Bars have to be raised and we have to surpass our previous records. Untrodden paths need to be traversed. Our students have to become achievers and rank-holders at the University level. Our faculty, entrusted with the task of setting new goals and standards, has now to transform the College to a research hub for the hundreds of students flocking year after year to Nari Gursahani Law College to fulfill their dreams.

We strongly believe that a student should join us by choice and not by chance or default if he wants us to sculpt the fine lawyer dormant in him. So dear student come to us to quench your thirst and not just to gargle at the fountain of knowledge.
