Experiential learning is at the heart of our legal education. Our dynamic approach to learning goes beyond textbooks and lectures, offering students a rich and immersive experience through a variety of activities designed to hone their legal skills and knowledge.
We believe in learning by doing. Through activities such as moot court competitions, mock trials, legal-aid cell initiatives, legal literacy and awareness programs, and para-legal training workshops, students have the opportunity to apply their classroom learning to real-world scenarios.
Our moot court competitions provide students with a platform to develop their advocacy and argumentation skills by simulating court proceedings. Working in teams, students research legal issues, draft arguments, and present their cases before judges, gaining valuable courtroom experience in the process.
Mock trials offer students the chance to role-play legal proceedings, from witness examinations to closing arguments, helping them understand the complexities of trial advocacy and procedure. Through these simulations, students learn to think on their feet, respond to unexpected challenges, and develop a deep understanding of the legal process.
Our legal aid cell is dedicated to providing legal advice to students, their parents and marginalized communities in the vicinity, giving students the opportunity to apply their legal knowledge to help those in need. Through practical experience, students learn the importance of access to justice and community engagement.
Legal literacy and awareness programs aim to educate people about their legal rights and responsibilities, empowering individuals to navigate the legal system with confidence. Students engage in community outreach activities, and awareness programs to promote legal awareness and social justice.
Para-legal training equips students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to support legal professionals in various settings, such as law firms, legal aid organizations, and government agencies. By mastering basic legal procedures and research techniques, students enhance their employability and contribute to the legal community.
At Nari Gursahani Law College, experiential learning is not just an option – it’s a fundamental aspect of our educational philosophy. Through hands-on activities, real-world projects, and community engagement, we prepare our students to become skilled and socially conscious legal professionals, ready to make a positive impact in the world. Join us on this exciting journey of learning, growth, and transformation.
