The HSNC Board is known for its educational excellence in all major programmes of humanities, science, business, engineering, law, pharmacy, management and information technology. It caters to the needs of about fifty thousand students through a group of fourteen Colleges, one of which is Nari Gursahani Law College.

Seventy Five years of commendable existence is a venerable achievement for any educational institution, especially the HSNC Board, which was established by persons displaced at the time of Partition and who had to root themselves into a soil that was foreign then.

Founded in 1949 under the able guidance of two towering personalities – Barrister H. G. Advani and Vidyasagar Prin. K  M Kundnani – the Board started its journey to create educational oases in the cities of Mumbai and Ulhasnagar.

Now, with six dynamic members – Mr. Anil Harish, Dr. Niranjan L. Hiranandani, Dr. Kishu Mansukhani, Mr. Lal Chellaram, Mrs. Maya Shahani and Principal Dinesh Panjwani – at the helm of affairs, the Board has lived up to its logo which says: “Where ideas come to life.” With its philosophy of simple living and high thinking the Board has enriched innumerable lives in the teeming cities of Mumbai and Ulhasnagar.
