1. The College celebrated ‘Environment Day’ on 5 June 2014.

2. Orientation Course for Five Years Law Course was conducted on 5 July 2014.

3. ‘Effective Communication Skills’ Course commenced on 10 July 2014.

4. Freshers Party was organised on 2 August 2014.

5. The College observed ‘Moment of Calm’ on 2 August 2014.

6. Three of our students namely Devesh joshi, Monish Keswani and Manju Sharma participated in a Workshop and Training Programme on “Effective Growth” organised by Psychology Department, CHM College on 20 August 2014.

7. The College paid homage to late Dada Nari Gursahani and to Padmabhushan late Dr. L.H. Hiranandani on 22 August & 5 September 2014 respectively.

8. Sixty students underwent “Para-Legal Volunteer Training” Programme at Ulhasnagar Chopra Court on 22 August 2014.

9. A Discourse on ‘Meditation and Stress Management’ was conducted on 23 August 2014.

10. In HSNC Board’s “Pharma Quest – 2014” Competition organised by K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, Cuffe Parade, on 25 August 2014 our students Haresh Punjabi, Manju Sharma and Nitu secured 4th Position in Quiz Competition.

11. An Intra Collegiate Debate Competition on “Environment and Development” was organised by the College on 30 August 2014. Ameya Pitale bagged the Gold Medal and Rajesh Chandwani the Silver Medal. Environmental Activist and Advocate Ms Ambika Hiranandani judged the Competition.

12. Students celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5 September 2014.

13. Dr. Manish Rijhwani conducted a special session on ‘Medical Jurisprudence’ on 6 September 2014.

14. The College celebrated “N.G.Fest – Vidhi Manthan” on 13 September 2014. His Lordship Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anoop Mohta was the Chief Guest and Mr. Kishu Mansukhani was the Guest of Honour for this Fest. The Festival was sponsored by D. M. Harish Foundation and Nari Gopi Hardasmal Gursahani Foundation. Fifteen law colleges participated in the Festival.

15. Tejasvi More and Noopur Tripathi participated in D.M.Harish Inter-Collegiate Elocution Competition at G.J. Advani Law College on 13 September 2014.

16. The College, in collaboration with Rotarians of Ulhasnagar, organised Second Padmabhushan late Dr L.H. Hiranandani Memorial Discussion on “BALI MINISTERIAL: Implications for India” on 20 September 2014.

17. Haresh Punjabi, Noopur Tripathi and Swapnil Bagul participate in the Parliamentary Debate organised by G.J. Advani Law College on 20 September 2014.

18. A group of students attended a One Day Workshop on the ‘Rights of Consumer’ at K.C. Law College on 27 September 2014.

19. Forty one students enrolled for the Lifelong Learning and Extension Programme, University of Mumbai.

20. Fifty students conducted “Legal Literacy Camp” at Ashelegaon, Ambernath on 8 October 2014.

21. The College took part in ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’ on 22 November 2014.

22. Manju Sharma and Noopur Tripathi participated in ‘Conflluence: Inter Disciplinary Oral Presentation’ organised by HSNC Board at Dr L.H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy on 11 December 2014.

23. Career Counselling for students of various Junior Colleges of Ulhasnagar was conducted by our students Rachana Karnik and Priyanka Patkar and our teaching staff during the month of January 2015.

24. Bhumika Pandhare, Rajesh Chandwani and Karan Jain participated in IUVENUM, PES Law College, 17 January 2015.

25. Sayali Musale, Rajesh Chandwani and Catherine Fernandez participated in DHRUV 2015 organised by CHM College on 16 January 2015 and Sayali Musale was declared 2nd Runner-up.

26. Sayali Musale participated in Rangoli and Mehendi Competition, Acharya Institute, Karjat, 22 January 2015.

27. Priyanka Patkar was selected as the Anchor for UDAAN Festival, Lifelong Learning and Extension Programme, University of Mumbai; and our College won the 1st Prize for Street Play and 3rd Prize for Poster Competition, UDDAN Festival, Thane district.

28. Free dental check-up was organised for the students, staff and their families from 22 to 24 January 2015.

29. Rajesh Chandwani and Catherine Fernandez took part in debate and Law Quiz Competition, Veeracharya Rechnical Education Campus, Shelu, 23 January 2015; and Rajesh won the 2nd prize (Rs. 2000) in the debate competition.

30. The College hosted the Board Seminar ‘Updates and Changes in Law for GenNext’ on 30 January 2015; seven Board colleges and eight select law colleges participated in the Seminar.

31. The ‘Degree Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on 2 February 2015. Mr Kishu Mansukhani, Trustee and Immediate Past President, HSNC Board was the Chief Guest.

32. Cultural Activities Festival was celebrated on 5 February 2015. Ms. Puja Jadhav won the first prize in Mehndi Competition and Ms Tejasvi More won the first prize in Rangoli Competition.

33. Fifty students visited Chopra Court, Ulhasnagar on 11 February 2015.

34. The college conducted an educational trip to Maharashtra Judicial Academy, Uttan on 18 February 2015. Sixty students attended the One Day Capsule Course at the Academy.

35. Rajesh Chandwani took part in Case Study Competition at H & G.H. Mansukhani Institute of Management on 11 February 2015; and won the Trophy and cash prize.

36. Karan Jain and Bharat Purswani participated in the ‘Law Test’; and Parveen Gurnani and Rajesh Chandwani participated in the Debate Competition, Thane Law College on 20 February 2015. Rajesh and Parveen won the trophy for debate competition.

37. On 20 February 2015, thirty students visited District Consumer Redressal Forum at Thane. Registrar, Vilas Pawar, guided the students about the procedure and practice in Consumer Courts.

38. Thirty students visited Thane District and Sessions Court on 20 February 2015.

39. Rajesh Chandwani and Parveen Gurnani won the Debate Competition and Sayali Musale won the ‘Best out of Waste’ Competition, Milap 2015, MIM Institute, 21 February 2015.

40. Karan Jain and Priyanka Patkar participated in Law Hunt, Power of Words and Caption Poster Contest in KES Law College on 22 February 2015.

41. The college celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas on 27 February 2015. The activities were conducted by Marathi Vangmay Mandal and Sindhi Sahit Sangh Committees.

42. On 28 February Priyanka Patkar, Bhavdeep Jadeja & Ameya Pitale participated in St. Wilfred’s College of law, National Moot Court Competition 2015.

43. Prof Mithun Bansode and Mr. Hemantkumar Dayare participated in NAAC sponsored One Day Awareness Programme on ‘NAAC’s Process of Assessment and Accreditation for Non Accredited Colleges’ at Birla College, Kalyan on 28 February 2015.

44. A team of students visited the Central Police station, Ulhasnagar on 2 March 2015.

45. The Annual Prize Distribution Function was held on 14 March 2015. Retired Judge Shri Prakash Hartalkar was the Chief Guest and Mr Vilas Pawar, Registrar of District Consumer Forum, Thane was the Guest of Honour. Geeta Israni, Justice S. U. Kamdar and Mr Anil Harish scholarships, medals and certificates were awarded to the meritorious students.

46. Trishala Panjabi and Poonam Sharma attended a lecture on ‘Role of Jurist in establishing Value based Society, David Sasoon Library, 20 March 2015.

47. Thirty students attend a Two Day Workshop on ‘Mediation’ at Maharashtra Judicial Academy on 21 and 22 March 2015.

48. Twelve students, nominated by the Principal, availed of the rare opportunity of conducting research at the Maharashtra Judicial Academy from 21-30 March 2015.

49. Devesh Joshi, Trishala Panjabi and Poonam Sharma attended the International Conference Jurists and Writes-2015 on March 29 2015 at Convocation Hall, University of Mumbai.

Admission to the First Semester of 5 Years / 3 Years Law Course

1. Admission to the first year of the 3 and 5 years law course are as per the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution [Regulation of Admissions and Fees] Act, 2015.

3. The CAP is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education [DHE], Maharashtra State. The schedule for admission, eligibility criteria, documents to be submitted and other rules pertaining to admission through CAP is decided by DHE and is published in the information brochure and hosted on DHE website.
